Well where do i begin with our journey with the legend that is Mark Wild!
I approached Mark in April 2019 when my now husband and I decided to secretly plan our wedding. Being into photography I had an exact idea of how I envisaged our photos to look and more importantly the way in which they would be captured. Having chosen our venue, Oran Mor I trawled instagram in search of some inspiration......it was there I seen this one photo of a bride that just stood out and had that WOW FACTOR. That photograph was taken by Mark!
I went to his website, and fell in love with his style, the colours and tones he created and knew just I had to book him! He was very prompt with his reply and totally up for our secret wedding planning idea.
Months passed as my partner was away with work. When he returned later that year we contacted Mark to book our pre wedding shoot.....little did I know my partner and Mark had secretly been in talks and planned the ultimate surprise.
Our pre shoot could not have been more romantic and beautiful. Mark chose Maxwell Park in Glasgow south side and it was a crisp autumn. We chatted away, h getting to know one another and under Mark's direction I was blissfully unaware that he and my partner were setting up the best surprise for me.......my partner on one knee with the engagement ring we had agreed we weren't gonna do! It was such a lovely and totally unexpected moment that we are so lucky to have captured by Mark as the moments unfolded. The first of many thank yous!
Our wedding day went down an absolute storm! No really.....it was the day storm Dennis hit and the weather was wild! This did not stop Mark and our plans to venture over to the Botanics for the perfect couple shots! Mark was on top form from start to finish and felt like one of our guests. His relaxed and laid back approach made our day just flow and we had such a laugh. He is professional, funny and a pleasure to be around.
